Ingredients
2 chicken thighs
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped seeded tomato
1 clove minced garlic
1/2 cup low salt chicken broth
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 tablespoon applesauce
lemon pepper
egg noodles
marinara sauce
Preparation
Sprinkle lemon pepper on both sides of chicken thighs.
In skillet heat olive oil on medium heat. Brown chicken, 3-4 minutes each side. Then return chicken to plate.
In skillet put chicken broth, lemon juice, and applesauce. Mix. Wait until mixture is warm. Place chicken, onions, garlic, and tomato. Keep on medium heat. Cook throughly 7-8 minutes per side.
In pot boil egg noodles or other noodles until done. Add marinara sauce. Place in bowl for serving.
Place chicken and scrape remaining sauce, tomato and onion into bowl of noodles. Mix.
