Ingredients
1 cup pecans
1 cup almonds
1 cup cashews
3/4 cup dried cherries
1/2 cup pepitas
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp white sugar
1 tsp kosher salt
1/4 - 1/2 tsp cayenne (to taste)
Preparation
combine the nuts and cherries and in a large frying pan melt the butter then add nuts and toast until light brown stirring frequently.
Add remaining ingredients to nut mixture ad continue to stir until the sugar has melted completely.
pour mixture onto a foil lined sheet pan and allow to cool.
Once cool break into small cluster size pieces
