Ingredients
2 Tblsp vegetable oil
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tblsp cornstarch
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup pineapple juice, from the drained pineapple chunks)
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup vinegar
1 tblsp soya sauce
Preparation
Mix all ingredients in a sauce pan and cook till thickened.
Pour over spare ribs that have been cut apart, in a 9x13 pan. Bake at 325 for 2-3 hours, covered. Add chopped green pepper and pineapple chunks and bake uncovered for another 1/3 hour to brown.
Serve over rice or baked potatoes.
