Ingredients

2 lb. Yukon Gold Potatoes, peeled/cubed

1 bay leaf

2 lb. Sweet Potatoes, peeled/cubed

1 1/2 cup heavy cream

4 tbsp. unsalted butter

3 cloves roasted garlic, mashed

salt and pepper

2 ripe bananas, peeled/mashed

2 tbsp honey

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 1/2 tsp orange zest

Preparation

Boil 6 cups salted water in saucepan. Add Yukon potatoes, bay leaf, cover and simmer around 20 min., until fork soft, drain and discard bay leaf. Return potatoes to pan. Boil 6 cups salted water in saucepan, add sweet potatoes, boil 20 minutes, until fork soft, drain and return to pan. heat heavy cream, butter, garlic in medium saucepan. Mash yukon gold potatoes with 1/2 cream mixture. Mash sweet potatoes. Stir in bananas, cream mixture, honey, cinnamon, orange zest. Fold 2 different potatoes together. Season with salt and pepper.
