Ingredients
2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 celery ribs chopped
1/4 cup chopped yellow pepper
1 can crushed tomatoes
1/4 cup ketchup
2 Tbs. brown sugar
1 Tbs. vinegar
1 Tbs. Worcestershire souce
1 Tbs. Heinz 57
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. ground mustard
1/4 tsp. paprika
8-10 hamburger buns
Preparation
In a large skillet, over medium heat, cook beef, onion, celery, and pepper until meat is no longer pink and veggies are tender; drain. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Simmer, uncovered, for 35-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spoon 1/2 cup mixture onto a bun.
