Preparation
remove giblets from chicken rinse chicken inside and out with water pat dry
melt 3 Tbsp butter in a non stick wok sprinkle salt generously over chicken sprinkle pepper over chicken put chicken in pan and fry til brown, turn over and continue frying til the whole chicken is browned add 2 c. water bring to boil lower heat cover and allow chicken to simmer for an hour add green beans or carrots last 15 mins of cooking
spoon excess fat off of gravy
serve over rice or potatoes with gravy
