Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
2 teaspoons wheat germ
2 cups oats
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped nuts (any kind)
Preparation
- Melt butter in a saucepan
- Add brown sugar stir until melted
- Add orange juice and orange peel
- Keep on low heat and stir until all ingredients are dissolved
- Take the pan off the stove and set it on a hot pad
- Add Wheat germ, oats, and chopped nuts.
- Mix with a spoon until well-blened.
- Spread in a 9-inch square pan and put it into the refrigerator until hard.
- Cut into squares
