Ingredients
Fresh Heirloom Tomatoes-2 each, sliced thin
Fresh Teardrop Tomatoes-1/2 carton, halved
1 oz. Shaved red Onion
1 oz. fresh Mozzarella,chopped small
1/4 c. Chili oil
1/4 c. Basil oil
3 T. Red wine vinegar
Kosher Salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
Preparation
1.) First start by preparing the tomatoes. You want the thinly slice the heirloom tomatoes to about 1/4 inch thickness. This will help absorb the flavors easily. Then cut the teardrop tomatoes in half. 2.) In a small bowl, combine the oils and vinegar and stir to combine. 3.) Add the tomatoes and mozzarella to the bowl with the oils and vinegar. Toss to mix. 4.) Season lightly with salt and pepper to taste. 5.) Serve on chilled plates for service.
