Ingredients
3 cups shredded romaine lettuce
1 cup shredded fresh basil leaves
1 cup chopped yellow zucchini
1 cup chopped fresh tomato
1 cup chopped fresh cucumber
1 cup chunked fresh watermelon
1 cup fresh blueberries
6-8 nastursium flowers
Preparation
Shred or chop ingrediants into a large salad bowl in the order the ingredients are listed so that you end with the flowers. Toss lightly if you like.
I’ve tried this with both a sun-dried tomato vinagrette or a yogurt/poppyseed dressing - either works, but there are probably many other salad dressing/vinagrettes that might work well also.
