Ingredients

1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, and cubed

1 quart fresh strawberries, hulled

1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, thawed

1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries, thawed

1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained

2 cups orange juice

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup cream sherry

1/2 teaspoon almond extract

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients (and peaches, if using) in a large bowl. Combine remaining ingredients, stirring until sugar dissolves. Pour sherry mixture over fruit mixture, tossing lightly.

Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours. Serve with a slotted spoon.
