Ingredients

9" pie shell

1 cup sugar

1/4 cup cornstarch

2 cups milk

1 stick butter

1 T vanilla

nutmeg, cinnamon

Preparation

Bake 9" pie shell for 10 minutes at 425°

Remove pie crust and lower oven temperature to 375°

Mix together: 1 cup sugar and ¼ cup cornstarch add 2 cups milk a little at a time. Mix well.

Cook over medium heat until thick stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add 1 stick butter and 1 T vanilla. Stir well. Pour into pie crust and sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon. Bake 20 minutes at 375°
