Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
Preparation
Cream butter and sugar at medium speed for 5 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla. Blend (medium speed) for 2 minutes. Add combined dry ingredients. Mix at low speed until blended. Roll dough 1/8 in thick on board lightly dusted with a mixture of 1 c sugar and 1/2 c flour. Cut into desired shapes. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 7 minutes.
