Ingredients
-3/4 c finely chopped onion
-1 1/2 c chopped celery
-1 c butter
-9 c soft bread cubes
-2 tsp salt
-1 1/2 tsp sage
-1 tsp thyme
-1/2 tsp pepper
Preparation
Cook and stir onion and celery in butter in 10 inch skillet until onion is tender. Stir in 1/3 of the bread cubes. Turn into deep bowl. Add remaining ingredients and toss. Shape by 1/2 cupfuls into balls. Place in greased dish. Cover and bake at 325F for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more.
