Ingredients

20 large mushrooms

3/4 cup butter

1 cup fresh onion, minced

5 medium garlic cloves, minced

1/2 cup chopped parsley

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon oregano leaves

1 cup dried bread crumbs

1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese

Preparation

  1. Clean mushrooms, remove and chop stems.

  2. Melt butter; add onion, garlic, parsley, salt oregano, and mushroom stems, and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.

  3. Stir in dried bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.

  4. Spoon into mushroom caps

5.Place under pre-heated broiler and broil for about 8 minutes, until tops are brown and mushrooms still crunchy.
