Ingredients

10 oz package spinach, cleaned and torn into bite-sized pieces

1 pint sliced strawberries

sliced purple onions

carmelized pecans: 3/4 cup sugar and 1 cup pecan halves-melt sugar and pecans to coat. remove to cool on wax paper.

Preparation

Dressing: combine in blender 1/4 cup sugar 1 tsp salt 1 tsp dry mustard 1/3 cup vinegar 2 cups chopped scallions slowly add 1 cup veg oil stir in 1 1/2 TBS poppy seeeds

combine spinach, berries, nuts and coat with 1/2 of dressing.
