Ingredients

1 quart strawberries

1/2 cup water

3 tbsp cornstarch

1 cup sugar

1 tbsp butter

1 tbsp lemon juice

few grains salt

Preparation

Crush 1/2 berries add water sugar and cornstarch. Cook in microwave till thick for 4 min on medium high till thickened. Remove and add lemon juice and butter. When cool add remaining berries which have been cut up. Put in baked pie shell and refrigerate.
