Ingredients
1 pie shell, baked
1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
2 pints strawberries
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon water
Preparation
Mix cornstarch and water, set aside. Stir cream cheese until smooth. Spread evenly in pie shell. Slice 1 pint of strawberries and spread over cream cheese. Crush remaining berries and bring to a boil on the stove. Add sugar and the cornstarch mixture. Turn down to medium heat and cook for 2 minutes. Cool and pour over raw strawberries in pie shell. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Serve with whipped cream
