Ingredients

1LB. Vanilla Waffers,crushed.

2-10oz. frozen strawberries

2 cups whipping cream (sweetened).

1 TSP. vanilla

1 cup chopped pecans

1 cup butter

1 box powder sugar

4 well beaten eggs

1 pint fresh strawberries for garnish.

Preparation

Cook butter,sugar and eggs to mayonnaise consistency over low heat (will not be very thick)stir constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla flavoring.Put 2/3 of waffers in 13x9x2 pyrex dish,pour cooled custard over waffers, sprinkle w/half the nuts, cover with 1/2 the whipped cream, spread all the frozen strawberries on then finish with another layer of cream, nuts & waffers on top.Freeze covered for 5hours minimum before serving.
