Ingredients

4 eggs

1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce

1/2 cup water

1 teaspoon each of oregano and basil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

3 slices white bread, divided

1 cup (4 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Preparation

In medium bowl with fork or whisk beat eggs until blended. Beat in tomato sauce, water. o regano, basil, salt and garlic powder, set aside in a greased 8 or 9 inch square baking dish arrange 4 slices bread. Evenly pour on half the tomato sauce mixture, sprinkle with half the mozzarella. repeat layers sprinkle top with parmesan cheeser. cover Let stand at least 1 hour or refrigerate overnight. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes until puffed and browned. Serve immediately.
