Ingredients

Ingredients:

6 skinless chicken drumsticks 6 skinless chicken thighs

1 green pepper, cut up

1 red pepper, cut up

1 yellow pepper, cut up

1 jumbo spanish onion, cut up 1 cup of mushrooms, halved

3 cans crushed tomatoes

1/2 cup olive oil

1/2 cup red wine

1/4 cup sugar

6 sprigs fresh oregano

salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Directions: Saute chicken pieces in oil until browned. Remove from pan. Saute vegetables in same oil until tender. Add wine and scrape bottom of the pan with a spoon. Add tomatoes, spices and sugar. Add chicken back in and cook until chicken is cooked through.
