Ingredients
Marinade:
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp fresh minced ginger
1 tbsp fresh minced garlic
1 tbsp Asian chili paste
2 lbs chicken wings
separated at joint
Glaze:
1/2 cup honey
1 1/2 tsp hoisin sauce
Garnish:
Toasted sesame seeds
chopped green onion
Preparation
Stir together marinade ingredients and marinate chicken wings for 30 minutes.
Grill chicken over medium heat, turning often until golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes. Using a pastry brush, generously glaze wings and continue to grill, turning as glaze starts to caramelize, about 5 minutes more (be careful not to burn glaze).
Transfer to serving platter. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and 1 chopped green onion.
