Ingredients

225g butter

225g dark brown sugar

225g golden syrup

2 tsp cinnamon

4 tsp ginger

340g plain flour

Pinch of salt

2 eggs

240ml walm whole milk

2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

Preparation

Melt butter, sugar, syrup. Add dry ingredients together Heat milk till warm. Whisk eggs. Mix syrup with milk. Then add eggs. Add dry ingredients. Make at 150C for 90-120 mins in a greased baking tin.
