Ingredients

Topping

1 1/4 cups graham wafer crumbs

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup melted butter

1/2 tsp ground cinammon

Filling

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 tsp salt

2 tblsp cornstarch

1 tbls flour

2 cups milk

2 large egg yolks (beaten)

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp vanilla

Meringue

2 egg whites

salt

1/4 cup sugar

Preparation

Mix topping together and bake for 8 minutes at 375 F

Filling Add sugar, salt, cornstartch and flour. Gradually stir in milk until mixture is smooth. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until it boils (about 2 minutes). Remove from heat and stir in a little hot mixture into the egg yolks then add yolks to mixture. Boil mixture for 1 minute, add butter and vanilla. Cool for 10 minutes.

Meringue Beat 2 egg whites stiff. Add a pinch of salt while beating. Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar. Beat until stiff and glossy. Spread over pie. Sprinkle crumbs over top. Bake at 425 F for 5 minutes
