Ingredients
1 1/2 pound piece salmon fillet deboned with skin on one side
4 tablespoons no sugar maple syrup
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
1 tablespoon dried thyme
salt and pepper
Preparation
Preheat grill to medium high heat and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Meanwhile, sprinkle salmon with salt and pepper lightly. In a small bowl mix maple syrup, dijon mustard and thyme.
Spoon 3/4 of the mixture on the skinned side of the salmon. Place salmon skin side down on grill. Grill for 10-14 minutes depending upon thickness and desired doneness. Pour addition 1/4 of sauce on top of salmon during cooking. Take care not to brush the topping on the salmon or you will remove the sauce already put on.
Remove from grill, let rest 5 minutes, cut into 4 pieces and serve.
