1 to 1 ½ pounds fish fillets
½ cup fresh ginger, cut into slivers, divided
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup scallions, cut into slivers
6 sprigs cilantro
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp sherry
2 tbs low-sodium soy sauce
3 tbs olive oil
Preparation
Preparation Rub fish thoroughly with salt and black pepper. Pour sherry over fish, sprinkle garlic, and ¼ cup ginger slivers on top. Place fish in a steamer and steam for 15 minutes. Remove, place on plate and top with scallions, cilantro, and remaining ginger. Heat olive oil in a sauce pan until it starts to sizzle. Pour over top of fish. Add soy sauce and serve.
