Ingredients

2 Fillet mignon

1 clove of garlic

3/4 lb sliced mushrooms

3T butter

2T vegetable oil

1/3c Brandy

3/4c half and half

salt

cracked peppercorns

Preparation

Salt steaks and then coat with cracked peppercorns. Saute garlic and mushrooms in butter until they have darken to dark brown color, about 5 minutes. Remove from pan. Add oil and cook steak over high heat. Remove steak. Add brandy, bring to boil. Add half and half and mushrooms heat to almost boiling.
