Ingredients

2 c. flour

3 t. baking powder

1 t. salt

1/4 c. shortening

3/4 c. milk

Preparation

Heat oven to 350. Put dry ingredients in mixing bowl and stir thoroughly. Add shortening. Blend with pastry blender until mixed well. Make a well in mixture. Add all liquids and stir until mixture makes a ball. Knead 20 - 25 times. Roll dough to 1/2 inch. Cut. Don’t add more flour or knead. Use spatula to transfer biscuits. For crusty side place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. For soft side place close together in round layer pan. Bake at 350 for 10 - 12 minutes.
