Squash - any kind and size

Butter

Brown sugar

Preparation

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cut squash in half and take out seeds. Put cut side down on pan and poke 3-4 holes in each half to allow steam to escape. Put in oven and bake for approx 30 minutes. Poke with fork, if it pokes easily, then the squash is done. If not, put back in oven and check every 15 minutes until it is. Take it out of the oven and let set for approx 5 minutes before scooping out. Scoop the squash out of its shell into a bowl. Add butter and brown sugar to taste.
