Ingredients

3 eggs

1 cup sugar

2 tbs cream/milk

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

2 tsp nutmeg

2 cups milk

5-1/2 cups flour - enough to permit spoon to stand upright in mixture

Preparation

Drop by teaspoon into hot oil. Cook on one side and flip over. Goal is to get them “just” cooked…not over cooked.

We call them “spooks” because they look like little goblins when cooked.

Dip in powdered sugar and enjoy.
