Ingredients
1/4 p split peas
1 medium potato thickly sliced
1 bay leaf
3 cups water
1 1/2 tsp honey
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp turmeric
2 Tblsp curry powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
salt
Preparation
Bring 1st 4 ingredients to a boil. Cook, partially covered over low heat until split peas are soft (appr. 30 min.). Skim off foam. Drain reserving cooking liquid Remove bay leaf Add rest of ingredients Puree
