Ingredients
1/4 cup blanched slivered almonds
1/4 cup grated parmigiano regiano
1 garlic clove
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups packed spinach
1 cup packed basil
1/2 cup olive oil
Preparation
In a food processor, pulse almonds, cheese, garlic, salt (1/2 teaspoon), and a pinch of pepper until uniform. Add spinach and basil and continue pulsing until chopped. With machine running, slowly add ½ cup olive oil, scraping down sides of machine if necessary.
