Ingredients
–1 cup butter, room temp.
–1 cup brown sugar
–1 1/2 TBS grated orange peel
–2 TBS ground ginger
–1 TBS cinnamon
–3/4 tsp. cloves
–1 tsp. baking soda
–2 cups flour
Preparation
Beat butter and brown sugar until light. Add remaining ingredients and mix until well blended.
Divide dough in 2. Press into two 9-inch circles on baking sheet.
Sprinkle with white crystallized sugar.
Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 min. Cool 5 min, then cut each circle into 16 wedges.
