Ingredients
4 T salad oil
1 t salt
1/2 t each pepper and garlic powder
6T each chili sauce and vinegar
2 T Worcestershire sauce
1/8 t liquid hot pepper seasoning
1/2 c lightly packed minced parsley
2 lb medium-size raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
4 T melted butter or margarine
Preparation
Combine oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce,hot pepper seasoning, and parsley. Pour over shrimp and cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
Lift shrimp from marinade and drain briefly (reserve marinade). Thread onto skewers and place on a well-greased grill 4 to 6 inches above a solid bed of low-glowing coals. Cook, turning and basting with reserved marinade, for about 4 minutes on each side or until shrimp turns pink.
