Ingredients
chicken (thighs or breast) - 1 lb
plain yoghurt - 1 cup
garlic powder - 3 tablespoons
turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
red chilly powder or paste - 2 teaspoons
black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
cinnamon, clove, fennel, anise powdered - 1 teaspoon
lemon - 1 (juice extracted)
salt - to taste
Preparation
Wash the chicken pieces well, after cutting them to the desired size. Mix all other ingredients into a thick marinade. Make slits on the chicken pieces and apply the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for atleast 6 hours. Grill on high for 5 minutes, then lower heat to medium and grill covered until chicken is well done.
