Ingredients

2 1/2 C. nuts

2 T. vegetable oil

1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin

1/4 tsp. cayenne

2 T. sugar

1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Put nuts in bowl. Pour oil in saucepan over med-low heat until warm. Add cumin and cayenne. Stir 15 seconds, until aromatic. Pour flavored oil over nuts. Add sugar and salt. Transfer to baking pan. Bake approx. 20 min. at 300F until nuts are toasted (stir occasionally).
