Ingredients
2 + 1/3 C. all purpose flour
2/3 C. brown sugar
1/2 TBSP. spekulaaskruiden (see recipe)
2/3 C. butter (softened)
baking powder (a knife-point)
4 TBSP. milk
Preparation
Sift the flour into a mixing-bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and kneed until you have a smooth, consistent mass. Let it rest for a few hours or overnight.
Preheat the oven on bake at 345 degrees. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out shapes or cut into squares. Bake on a non-stick surface or in a greased pan for fifteen minutes. If the cookies are starting to look too brown cover with aluminum foil to prevent further browning.
