Special K Bars Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup sugar

1 cup light syrup [karo]

1 1/2 cup peanut butter

1 tsp vanilla

6 cups Special K Cereal

1 [6oz] pkg chocolate chips

1 [6oz] pkg butterscotch chips

Preparation

Bring sugar & syrup to a boil. Add peanut butter & vanilla to mixture and stir till nice consistancy. Then add to cereal in a large bowl and mix. Press into a buttered 9x13 pan. Melt chips together till a nice consistancy and then spread on top of cereal bars like frosting.

Variation: use 12 oz chocolate chips & 9 cups of Special K cereal.
