Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 lb Italian sausage (hot-if preferred)

1 46 oz can V8

1 28 oz can diced tomato

1 15 oz can tomato paste

2 cloves garlic (add more according to preference)

1 1/2 tsp oregano

1 tsp sweet marjoram

1 tsp sweet basil

1 1/2 tsp rosemary

1/2 tsp crushed red pepper

2 bay leaves

Preparation

Brown, then drain fat from: 1 lb ground beef 1 lb Italian sausage

Then add to cooked ground beef and Italian sausage 1 46 oz can V8 1 28 oz can diced tomatoes 1 15 oz can tomato paste

Stir well, then add in rest of ingredients: 2 cloves garlic (add more according to preference) 1 1/2 tsp oregano 1 tsp sweet marjoram 1 tsp sweet basil 1 1/2 tsp rosemary 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper 2 bay leaves

Mix well and allow sauce to simmer several hours.
