Ingredients

6 oz of spaghetti

2 Tbsp of butter

1/3 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

2 eggs, well beaten

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

1 can tomatoes (8 oz)

1 can tomato paste (6 oz)

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp garlic salt

1 carton ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella

Preparation

  • Cook spaghetti. Stir butter into hot spaghetti. Add in cheese and eggs.
  • Form spaghetti mixture into crust in a buttered 9 in. pie pan.
  • Brown meat and drain fat
  • Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, etc. Heat throughly.
  • Spread cottage cheese over the spaghetti crust. Fill pie with meat and tomato mixture.
  • Bake uncovered for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on the top and bake 5 minutes or so until cheese melts.
