Ingredients

2 Tablespoons unsealed butter

Raw bacon, diced (or 1/2 cup pancetta)

1 teaspoon chopped garlic

12 ounces spaghetti

2 eggs, beaten

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1/2 cup Romano chees , grated (I used asiago)

Salt and pepper

Preparation

Cook bacon until half done, then add butter and garlic and cook till bacon is done. Remove and discard garlic if too brown. Cook spaghetti in boiling water according to instructions. Drain and combine with bacon mixture in one pan. Remove from heat! Pour in eggs, half Parmesan and Romano, season with salt and pepper. Mix well so egg coats the pasta. Add remaining cheese, mis again and serve!
