Ingredients

2 tbl olive oil

1 medium size onion cut into 1/4" dice (1 cup)

1 tbl minced garlic

1 tbl dried oregano

2 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp salt

1 llb of lean ground beef

4 cups marinara

1/4 cup chopped fresh flatleaf parsley

Preparation

Heat olive oil over medium-low heat Add onion and cook until soft (5 minutes) Add garlic, oregano, basil, & salt. Cook until garlic softens (1 minute) Add beef increase heat to medium for 5-8 minutes. Add marinara sauce to beef and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes. Just before serving, add parsley to sauce.
